Sarah Serfilippi, MC, LPC

I started Greenhouse Counseling Services in 2024 with the hope of creating a virtual therapy platform for people to find a safe and comfortable space to work on healing and growing. I am committed to helping people work through difficult moments in life as well as process through past experiences and future worries. I currently live in Pennsylvania where I was born and raised. I worked in community mental health in Arizona for 3.5 years where I began my journey as a therapist. I have currently been working in private practice for the past year and received my LPC in Pennsylvania.

I love helping people and watching them become the best versions of themselves. I feel that the positive impact of individual therapy goes beyond the person working on themself and also benefits their families and communities as a whole. Healed people heal people. Start your journey today!

APproach  to  Therapy

Person-centered approach — I believe that we are all experts and authors of our own stories. I primarily utilize a person-centered approach in my therapy work, meaning that I am here to walk alongside of you as you move through life and the challenges it can bring. I provide knowledge and guidance as you face hurdles and milestones as well as support you on your journey to healing and understanding yourself. I bring elements of both trauma-informed care and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) into my sessions as well as components from Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Narrative Therapy.

I have experience working in the following areas/topics: LGBTQIA+, relationship issues, anxiety and depressive disorders, trauma disorders, ADHD, substance use disorders and addictions, grief and loss, and spirituality.
